Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal will join Real Madrid this summer on a five-year contract, according to Chilean newspaper La Tercera. This paper is arguably one of the biggest media in Chile, so this report might actually be true.
Arturo Vidal is just hours away from becoming a Real Madrid player. The midfielder just needs to sign his contract in order to join the Spanish capital. There's an agreement between Vidal and the Spanish club, one of Vidal's advisers told La Tercera. According to that same source, he will sign a five-year deal and a big salary. Vidal's family assumed the deal and told La Tercera that they are "packing and getting ready to travel to Spain."
It's hard or even impossible to tell how accurate this report might be. Vidal had some problems off the field lately and Real Madrid's President Florentino Pérez doesn't like that, but he's definitely a quality player and one that would improve Rafa Benítez's roster.
