Benzema on Arsenal and Manchester United's shortlists

The French could be relegated to a bench role if Benítez decides to play Cristiano Ronaldo as the striker.

Reports from Spain suggest that Rafa Benítez wants to use Cristiano Ronaldo as the team's center-striker, meaning that Karim Benzema wouldn't have as many options to start. Apparently, and according to AS, Arsenal, Manchester United and PSG want to take advantage from this situation and sign Benzema away from Real Madrid this very same summer.

British newspaper Manchester Evening News published weeks ago that representatives from Manchester United met with Benzema's agent to see if the French attacker would be willing to leave Real Madrid. However, nobody knows what Benítez will do in terms of system and starting XI, so the player would like to wait and see what the coach has in mind.

Benzema did not finish the season in great shape and Benítez wants his players to work really hard and press all the time, so selling Benzema could happen and might not be as crazy as it sounds right now.
