If Real Madrid and Manchester United's talks for David de Gea and Sergio Ramos weren't enough, the red devils submitted a €140 million offer for Gareth Bale which was rejected, according to Cadena COPE. The two clubs can't complete a single deal and this is just the last installment of a summer of rejected offers between both teams.
It's strange to see Real Madrid rejecting that €140 million bid by United, but Florentino Pérez is not going to give up on Bale this early. The Welsh attacker is hoping to see his production and importance within the team increase under Rafa Benítez, who will likely deploy him on the left flank.
Real Madrid and Manchester United will still have to talk about Ramos and De Gea, given that these two players appear to be each other's primary target in this transfer market. It will not be easy to reach an agreement, though.
