Benítez to meet with his players today, Manchester United target Ramos might not join them

Meanwhile, Casillas hasn't confirmed his departure from the club just yet and will meet with Benítez.

Rafa Benítez wanted to gather most of his players by today at 19:00 CET to have a little talk and get to know them. Although this was not a mandatory meeting, a big part of Real Madrid's roster will be there, including Iker Casillas, who hasn't terminated his contract with Real Madrid.

The thing might be different with Sergio Ramos, though. The Spanish defender is reportedly on his way out of the club and might miss this first meeting with Real Madrid, although he was expected to show up.

The team will travel to Australia this next Sunday and that's precisely when Ramos and the rest of his teammates will be forced to be there. Casillas won't need to travel if his signing for FC Porto gets done, but the official announcement was expected hours ago and neither club have published anything.

Real Madrid still need to make some moves on the transfer market as soon as possible in order to give Benítez all the tools he need to have a good pre-season.

UPDATE: Both Ramos and Casillas are in the meeting.
