El Chiringuito de Jugones reported last night that David De Gea is "anxious to join Real Madrid" as he can't "stand living in Manchester." The goalkeeper seems determined to complete his move to Madrid this same summer but the clubs have to reach an agreement first, something that will not be easy considering United's reluctance to let De Gea go even though he could join Real Madrid as a free agent a year from now.
El Chiringuito's reports aren't always accurate, but this one appears to be reliable given that De Gea's wish to live in Spain once again has always been well reported.
Real Madrid will try their best to complete the signing of De Gea but they are not willing to spend more than €30 million on a player whose contract expires in 12 months. Both clubs are now exploring the possibility of including Keylor Navas in the deal.
