Karim Benzema denies move to Arsenal

Karim Benzema will not join Arsenal this summer. This appeared to be fairly clear already but the striker took it to Twitter and denied the rumors placing him in London.

That tweet includes one picture of him posing in Valdebebas dressing room. Rumors suggested this Sunday that Benzema had been in London to complete his signing for Arsenal even though Arsene Wenger himself has publicly said that the news about Benzema are "just rumors." Whether the British press will stop reporting more Benzema news or not remains to be seen, but the striker is going to stay with Real Madrid this season.

Benzema is recovering from a leg injury picked up two weeks ago and could be ready to feature in Real's next game against Betis. He rejoined the squad today.
