Real Madrid and Olympique Marseille have finally reached an agreement and Lucas Silva will join Míchel and Lass Diarra for the next season on a loan deal. As Cadena Cope's reporter Miguel Ángel Díaz has just reported, Olympique Marseille don't keep any clause that would enable them to sign Silva at the end of the season, and therefore we must see this deal just as a way for the player to get some minutes and experience at a European club.

This way, Real Madrid fixes a problem as it had four non-EU players in the roster and three is the maximum. Los Blancos should be fine with just Kroos, Modric, Casemiro and Kovacic for the double pivot, although depending on Silva's performance throughout the season, some adjustments might need to be made next summer.
