As Real Madrid didn't win La Liga or the Champions League last season, los Blancos were sent to Pot 2 in the UEFA Champions League draw. Therefore, there were odds that we could end up in a group of death that would make our early stage in the competition very hard.
Things started to look really bad when we were sent to group A:

Later on, Shakhtar Donetsk was sent to our group to make things a little tougher:

It will be a tough group stage for los Blancos, but we must remain positive as things could have been much worse. Real Madrid should move on to the next phase of the competition, but the fight for the first place looks quite hard with Paris Saint-Germain there.
