Manchester United sent the contracts at 00:01 CET and that means that Real Madrid cannot complete the signing of David De Gea. This is one of the most unbelievable transfer sagas in the history of the sport, as both teams reached an agreement Monday afternoon.

David De Gea will stay in Manchester and might as well decide not to sign for Real Madrid next year. He will now be forced to defend United's goal while the fans will not support him. Meanwhile, Keylor Navas will stay in the Spanish capital and will be playing for Madrid when Los Blancos showed no faith in him.

This is a big mistake by Real Madrid. Both clubs had enough time to complete the deal and it all fell apart instead. It will be interesting to see what Real's directors have to say about this transfer as the fans will surely be disappointed with the outcome of this saga.
