James Rodríguez will not be available for a while after picking up a thigh injury in Colombia's match against Peru, according to Real Madrid's statement.
Following the tests carried out on James Rodríguez today in the Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital, the player has been diagnosed with a tear in his left thigh muscle, resulting from a knock he sustained during the match between Colombia and Peru. His condition will be evaluated.
Nobody knows how long James will be out but the coaching staff should be careful with his recovery as muscle injuries are always tricky. Isco will replace him in the starting XI.
This FIFA break has not been great for Real Madrid. Keep in mind that Los Blancos have also lost Danilo for the next month or so with a foot injury. Either way, Carvajal and Isco should be more than ready to play and prove they're ready to be starters even with Danilo and James back.
