Real Madrid squad named for Liga BBVA match against Espanyol

Real Madrid released the squad list to face Espanyol this Saturday. James and Danilo are out with injuries while Cheryshev was also left out.

Goalkeepers: Keylor Navas, Kiko Casilla and Rubén Yáñez.
Defenders: Varane, Pepe, Ramos, Nacho, Marcelo, Carvajal and Arbeloa.
Midfielders: Kroos, Bale, Casemiro, Kovacic, Modric and Isco.
Attackers: Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema, Jesé and Lucas Vázquez.

It's strange to see Cheryshev missing this list. It was easy to assume that Real Madrid were waiting to see if he could leave the club before the deadline or not, but now that the transfer market is already close Cheryshev should be a player of this team and he has the quality to make it into the list ahead than Lucas Vázquez, for example.

Jesé and Isco will fight for the starting spot replacing James, although Isco will most likely be Benítez's choice. Other than that, the coach could rotate some of his players but he will likely wait until Real's next home game against Granada.
