Real Madrid vs Shakhtar Donetsk, UEFA Champions League 15/16: Choose your lineup

Let's help Rafa Benítez.

Los Blancos make their debut in the 2015-2016 edition of the UEFA Champions League against Shakhtar Donetsk at the Santiago Bernabéu. Although it won't be the easiest of the rivals that Real Madrid has faced in its first game of the competition in the last few years, Benítez's men need to get a victory to start off on the right foot in order to keep all their options intact to win the first place of a group where Paris Saint-Germain will be a tough opponent.

Coach Benítez already rotated some of his men last Saturday against Espanyol, so one should expect him to choose the one that seems to be his favorite lineup, with Varane and Kroos back at their spots. Still, Mateo Kovacic, Jesé Rodríguez or Denis Cheryshev, who has made it into the squad list for the first time this season, could have a chance to start against Shakhtar, just like Kiko Casilla, since Benítez neither confirmed not denied that he will choose his goalkeeper depending on which competition Los Blancos are playing in.

Like we have been doing recently, the form below will serve you to configure a starting lineup for today's game. Once you're done, you can compare your choice to the ones by the rest of our users here, and we encourage you to move on to the comment section later to discuss all the possibilities.
