Sergio Ramos will most likely not be available for Real Madrid's away game against Athletic Bilbao. The Spanish defender tried his best to recover from his shoulder injury in time but decided not to complete Tuesday's training session with the squad.

That way, Pepe and Varane should start in the center of Real's defensive line. Aritz Aduriz's aerial game will surely be a threat as he proved last season when the scored the game-winning goal against Real Madrid. Ramos missed that game and Aduriz was very effective with the ball in the air.

Either way, Pepe and Varane have been performing well this season and Rafa Benítez should have faith on them. Sergio Ramos will recover from his shoulder injury soon enough but Varane and Pepe definitely have what it takes to fill Ramos' shoes meanwhile.

Real Madrid will visit Atlético de Madrid less than two weeks from now and Ramos should be available by then.
