Real Madrid squad named for Liga BBVA match against Málaga

Wednesday was a good day for Real Madrid. Barcelona lost to Celta Vigo at Balaídos while Los Blancos earned a tough win away against Athletic Bilbao. This means that Los Blancos are now top of the Liga BBVA table and while there is a long way to go, Benítez and his men will surely be happy about overcoming that two-point deficit they had with Barcelona after the Liga opener against Gijón.

Goalkeepers: Keylor Navas, Kiko Casilla and Rubén Yáñez.
Defenders: Varane, Arbeloa, Nacho, Marcelo and Carvajal.
Midfielders: Kroos, Lucas Vázquez, Casemiro, Kovacic, Modric, Marcos Llorente and Isco.
Attackers: Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema, Jesé and Cheryshev.

Benítez has decided to replace Pepe with Marcos Llorente for this list. Varane and Nacho will be the starting defender in the center of Real Madrid's defensive line and it will be interesting to see if the Spanish manager makes more rotations upfront and in the midfield given that the Derby against Atlético is just a week away.
