Chelsea's Eden Hazard on Real Madrid's shortlist for next summer

That's according to The Sunday Times.

Real Madrid want to sign Eden Hazard to improve their offensive line and according to The Sunday Times, Florentino Pérez would be willing to spend a lot of money on Hazard's signing and also sell either Cristiano Ronaldo or Gareth Bale to fund that transfer.

Either way, Chelsea will not probably want to part ways with Hazard any time soon. The Belgian attacker has not started the season in great form but he's still Chelsea's most important player. The London-based club also have a huge budget and they would not need to sell the player, so this seems to be just a rumor.

Furthermore, Hazard's offensive contribution is nowhere close to Bale or Cristiano's, so Real Madrid would need something else from the Belgian. Take this with a grain of salt because Hazard is most likely going to stay with Chelsea for quite some time. Unless something big happens, Real Madrid will not go after him.
