Eden Hazard would be one of Florentino Pérez and Zinedine Zidane's priorities to improve Real Madrid's squad, according to Josep Pedrerol. Real Madrid CEO José Ángel Sánchez explained yesterday during a press conference that they are confident about being able to sign new players this next summer, hoping that Real's appeal will go through. If so, Hazard appears to be on the shortlist.
New coach Zinedine Zidane has always enjoyed Hazard's game, even admitting that the Belgian attacker is one of his favorite players. Do Real Madrid need to sign another attacking player? Definitely not, but that has never been a problem for the current Madrid board.
Chelsea will not let Hazard go that easily, however. He is one of their most important players and even though he's having a disappointing season so far, Hazard still has a good market value. Furthermore, Chelsea have more than enough money and they don't need to sell, so it will be a tough task for Real Madrid to sign Hazard if that initial interest -- and the appeal -- is confirmed.
