Zinedine Zidane confirmed that Sergio Ramos will not be available for tomorrow's away match against Betis. "I talked with him and we decided to wait another more week so that he has enough time to recover from his small injury," said the French manager.
James Rodríguez could be the one replacing Gareth Bale in the lineup, but Zidane did not confirm said thing. "I am very happy with how he trained this week. He is working hard and he is ready for tomorrow's game, although you will see what will happen tomorrow," explained the manager. "The rumors about James' parties bother me, we should not be talking about these rumors and the same happens when someone doesn't play."
"We have 26 players in this squad and every player wants to play. But I can only choose 11 players, so we don't need to make signings this winter. I am happy with the roster I have," he added.
Zidane also said that the players have improved their physical condition. This was one of Zidane's most important points when he took over and he added that the players will be even better next week as his three-week plan to improve their condition will be complete.
