Rumors have been circulating that Neymar is in the works for a deal to join Los Blancos.
For those who follow Neymar on SnapChat, the Brazilian responded to the claims with a short video captioned "for the journalist who talks s***!"
In the short clip, he said: "Manolo Lama, you said that I was in Madrid yesterday. Start talking the truth, you fool!"
Lama has now come out saying that his intention was not to illicit a fierce response, and insists his sources for his reports are valid.
"Those that told me they saw [Neymar] in Madrid [on Thursday night] still swear that it was him." He also added, "Neymar, I promise that I believe you and I apologise."
The 23-year-old has grown to become a vital piece to Barcelona's success, so it is no wonder Madrid are interested in the slim possibility of being able to lure him from their Catalan rivals.
