Zidane spoke in press conference ahead of Real's match against Deportivo tomorrow.
"I will not reveal the midfield I will play tomorrow. What I can confirm is that BBC will start tomorrow," said Zidane about his first starting lineup with Real Madrid. That system usually means that Real could struggle without the ball, but Zidane is still confident that this lineup can work: "My idea, my message, is that without the ball we all work. You cannot have one or two or three players who do not defend. The best way to not have to defend is to have the ball. So that's what we're going to try and do."
"I can't wait for the match to begin, for me and for the players especially, I've not been surprised by anything. I've very happy because the team want to change things, they want to play," he added. "I've perceived that I've brought hope and that I've gotten from the players. They've been doing very well and I am confident about how they will play. I will sleep well tonight," he said with a smile.
James and Isco were not very important players for Benítez but Zidane will surely try to give them an important role in this squad. "About James and Isco, with important players, very good players, the only thing is to give them love and confidence, and I have to do that," explained Zidane.
When asked about the transfer market, Zidane said that he doesn't want any of his players out. "I don't want that, you never know what's going to happen but I don't want to see anyone leaving and I also don't think we'll sign anyone this winter," said the manager.
"I talked with Benzema the other day and I told him that this team has a lot of quality and it's very difficult to take the ball away from them, it's impressive and very hard to say who surprised me the most," he explained when asked about his roster.
