Benzema recovers in time for derby against Atletico, Pepe and Casemiro out

Karim Benzema will be available when Real Madrid visit Atletico Madrid this next Saturday as the French attacker completed Thursday's training session with the rest of the squad.

Benzema had been dealing with a small injury for a while but it looks like he's 100% ready to go now.

Considering that Alvaro Morata will miss the game after suffering an injury during Spain's friendly against England, Benzema's recovery comes right on time for Zinedine Zidane and the coaching staff.

It will not be easy for Real Madrid to dismantle Atletico Madrid at the Vicente Calderon without key players Casemiro, Pepe and Toni Kroos. All three of them will be out of the squad with injuries, and while Modric's recent return gives Madrid hope, Zidane will still have to rethink his tactics against Simeone's team.

Madrid are currently six points clear of Atletico in La Liga table after Griezmann, Koke and Co. lost away at Real Sociedad.
