Real Madrid doctors told coach Zinedine Zidane that he should not take any chances with Casemiro as the Brazilian midfielder isn't ready to play just yet, according to Spanish radio Cadena SER.

The report indicates that Casemiro will still try to prove that he has recovered in time for the Derby this Friday, although the doctors told Zidane that he should wait in order to be 100% ready to go against Barcelona next December 3rd.

Casemiro has been injured for the last two months even though the initial reports suggested that the injury he suffered on Real Madrid's visit to Espanyol wasn't that serious.

All things considered, Zidane will be forced to start a midfield without Casemiro and Kroos, two undisputed starters who would make the team ever single time were they healthy. Kovacic, Isco, Asensio and James are now fighting for two starting spots in the lineup alongside Luka Modric.
