Real Madrid face a tall task against a good Sporting Portugal side who didn't make things easy for Los Blancos when they visited the Santiago Bernabeu more than a month ago.

Sporting had the draw all but secured until Alvaro Morata managed to score the game-winning goal in the dying seconds of the match, giving Real Madrid all three points after a poor overall performance. Sporting coach Jorge Jesus built a very efficient gameplan to stop Madrid and they also had their chances through Gelson Martins.

Real Madrid got a deserved 0-3 win at the Vicente Calderon without key players like Kroos, Casemiro, Pepe or Sergio Ramos, but tonight both the Spanish captain and striker Karim Benzema are expected to make their return to the starting lineup.

Los Blancos need to win if they want to win the group, and even if they get the three points against Sporting, they'll have to beat Borussia Dortmund at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Sporting Portugal Projected XI: Rui Patricio, Joao Pereira, Coates, Semedo, Zeegelar, Martins, Carvalho, Silva, Ruiz, Cesar, Dost.

Real Madrid Projected XI: Navas, Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo, Modric, Kovacic, Isco, Bale, Ronaldo, Benzema.
