It's been two months since he injured his leg.

Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro trained with his teammates today as he tries to complete the recovery from the leg injury he suffered against Espanyol two months ago.

The Brazilian midfielder could even try to be ready to face Barcelona in the upcoming Clasico, although he might need more time to get in proper shape for the match. However, Casemiro's physical presence would be crucial against Barça, so Zidane will surely try to give him some minutes against Sporting Gijon this weekend in order to have him ready for at least 60 minutes on November 3rd.

Casemiro has spent two months recovering from that injury and Mateo Kovacic has performed very well while the Brazilian anchor has been out. Nobody knows whether Casemiro will be an undisputed starter when he is fit given how well Kovacic has played, although his defensive skills will definitely be needed when Real Madrid face tough opposition.
