Real Madrid announce squad for La Liga match against Sporting Gijon

Two Real Madrid players are back with the squad and two Real Madrid players are out with injuries. Pepe and Casemiro make their return to the team after missing the last few games while Gareth Bale and Raphael Varane will miss the match against Gijon.

REAL MADRID'S SQUAD LIST

Goalkeepers: Keylor Navas, Casilla and Yáñez.

Defenders: Carvajal, Pepe, Ramos, Nacho, Marcelo and Danilo.

Midfielders: James, Casemiro, Kovacic, Modric, Asensio and Isco.

Attackers: Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema, Lucas Vázquez and Mariano.

Considering that Sergio Ramos will be forced to miss the upcoming Clasico against FC Barcelona if he gets booked this Saturday, coach Zinedine Zidane could decide to start both Nacho and Pepe in the center of Madrid's defensive line. It would probably be a mistake to trust Ramos with the task of not getting suspended but Zidane still said during the pre-match press conference that Ramos will be in the starting lineup tomorrow.

James, Asensio, Lucas Vazquez and Isco will be competing for a spot in the lineup after Bale's injury and Casemiro's return.
