Real Madrid announce squad for Copa del Rey game against Cultural Leonesa

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane will make plenty of rotations for the Copa del Rey game against Cultural Leonesa. Los Blancos managed to get a 1-7 away win, so they have clearly secured their presence in the next round of the competition.

REAL MADRID'S SQUAD LIST:

Goalkeepers: Casilla and Rubén Yáñez.

Defenders: Carvajal, Pepe, Varane, Nacho and Tejero.

Midfielders: James, Casemiro, Kovacic, Asensio, Isco, Odegaard and Enzo.

Keylor Navas, Danilo, Ramos, Marcelo, Coentrao, Modric, Cristiano Ronaldo and Benzema will all enjoy some rest in order to have fresh legs for Saturday's El Clasico against FC Barcelona.

Zidane explained that he wants Casemiro to play some minutes this Wednesday to see if he is ready enough to face Barcelona.

"Tomorrow he will get some minutes, that’s the idea. It will be his first match and we will see on Saturday what happens. He's back with the group and he's ready to play," said the French coach.
