Luka Modric is ready to come back from his knee injury and will be able to feature against Leganes as he tries to be in his best shape for the upcoming Madrid derby against Atletico —November 19th—.
Modric has been training with the rest of the squad for the last two days and should be included in Madrid's squad list to host Leganes on Sunday. Although coach Zinedine Zidane will almost surely keep him on the bench, Modric could play some minutes if Madrid are taking care of business the way they should.
Although Los Blancos have done OK without him in the midfield, Modric's comeback will definitely be a boost for a team that wasted a 0-2 lead against Legia last Wednesday. Zidane's men have lacked consistency and Modric's experience and quality play in the midfield will help Real Madrd regain some confidence as they will face some tough opposition this next Month.
