UEFA will hold the draw for the Champions League's Round of 16 this Monday and Real Madrid will be in the "Group Runner-ups" pot alongside Paris Saint-Germain (A, FRA), Benfica (B, POR), Manchester City (C, ENG), Bayern München (D, GER), Bayer Leverkusen (E, GER), Porto (G, POR) and Sevilla (H, ESP).
That means that Los Blancos could face Arsenal, Napoli, Monaco, Leicester or Juventus in the next round, given that they cannot play against Spanish teams until the Quarterfinals.
All things considered, it seems reasonable to consider Juventus the strongest side of those five, with Arsenal as another dangerous team. Madrid will have to play the return leg away from the Bernabeu.
Los Blancos are defending their 2015-16 Champions League title but their 3-3 draw against Legia Warsaw in the Group Stage meant that they had to beat Borussia Dortmund at home to win the group stage, something they could not do as the German side earned a 2-2 draw. There are still some manageable sides in the other pot, but playing the return leg away from home could be problematic for Zidane and his men.
