Both Sergio Ramos and Pepe will miss the Semifinals of the FIFA Club World Cup, coach Zinedine Zidane confirmed during the pre-match press conference.
"Ramos is out, he feels tired after the long trip and we will not take any chances with him, we'll see whether he's available for Sunday's game or not," said the French coach.
Pepe did not train with the squad and that's precisely why he will almost certainly miss the game as well.
Zidane is not thinking about making rotations and he will start "his best team available," he said.
"This one will be a tough game, it's 50-50 right now. It's clear that it will be tough for both teams and even though we have plenty of options to choose from, it's better to start our best lineup," added Zidane.
"Cristiano Ronaldo will start, he's ready and motivated to play this match as he always is. He wants to win in every training session so I am not worried about his attitude," concluded the coach.
