Real Madrid were forced to play without Sergio Ramos last Thursday, but the Spanish defender should be available this Sunday, club sources told Managing Madrid. Ramos has not trained with the squad yet but should do so this Saturday as Madrid get ready to face Asia champions Kashima Antlers.

Ramos has been a key player for Real Madrid lately, scoring last-minute goals against Barcelona and also against Deportivo, so his presence should increase Madrid's chances of winning the title, although Los Blancos are considered the heavy favorites already.

Raphael Varane and Nacho performed well against Club America as Pepe is also recovering from a small injury. The Portuguese defender is still questionable for the Final while Ramos' presence seems way more likely.

Either way, Kashima will be expected to defend tightly and should not create many scoring chances, although defending with composure in those opportunities could be crucial for Madrid down the road.
