Zinedine Zidane will start Lucas Vazquez and Mateo Kovacic in El Clasico against Barcelona this Saturday, according to AS.
While the Croatian midfielder will be replacing Casemiro, who isn't fit enough to earn a spot in the lineup, Vazquez will play on Gareth Bale's right wing, meaning that James Rodriguez and Asensio will wait for their chance on the bench.
Isco and Luka Modric will play alongside Kovacic in the midfield, so Real Madrid will need to work hard defensively in order to prevent Barcelona from controlling the tempo of the game. Casemiro's physical presence would've been useful in this match and will most likely enter the game during the second half if Zidane wants to disrupt Barcelona's midfield.
Vazquez's work-rate will also be a very important asset to stop Neymar, who won't be able to play one-on-one against Carvajal because the winger always likes to help on defense.
James, Casemiro and Asensio will be the main game-changers Zidane will keep on the bench.
