Real Madrid midfielder Isco Alarcon will not make a decision about his contract extension with the club until next summer, according to Diario AS. The playmaker is happy with Madrid's offer but he wants to wait and see what kind of role he will have under Zinedine Zidane moving forward.
Isco has been in and out of Real Madrid's starting XI and he is not a starter for this team when the whole squad is healthy enough to play. However, he's usually Real's first man off the bench and that gives him plenty of chances throughout the season, as he can play in the midfield and also in the three-man attacking line. For instance, Isco was in Madrid's starting XI both in the past El Clasico and also in Madrid's huge 0-3 win in the Madrid Derby.
Manchester City are willing to sign Isco next summer, per that same report from AS, and Madrid would be forced to sell if Isco refuses to sign an extension, as his contract expires in 2018.
