Some reports suggested that Liverpool, Watford and Sevilla were interested in signing him on a loan deal, but Cheryshev is finally headed to Valencia if reports from COPE are accurate. Valencia CF has around 5 hours to complete the deal if they want to register Cheryshev.
Details of the deal have not been confirmed, but the winger will most likely stay in Valencia until the end of the season. His situation will then be addressed but he will most likely leave Real Madrid in the summer.
Denis Cheryshev could play some minutes in Valencia. Pablo Piatti and Sofiane Feghouli are starters for that team and Cheryshev has the quality to be ahead of them in the rotation if things go well enough for him. He was expected to play more often for Madrid this season but he has only featured in 127 minutes since the 2015-2016 campaign started back in August.
