Gareth Bale might have to miss the Madrid Derby between Real and Atlético which will be played two weeks from now. It looks like Bale will need at least three more weeks to recover from his calf injury, according to a report from Marca quoting Welsh doctor Osian Roberts.
"We will see how it goes during the next two or three weeks with his rehab and then we will see how ready he is," said Roberts. "It's important for him to take the time he needs because he could aggravate that injury if he is not careful," he added.
Bale was expected to be recovered and ready to play for Wednesday's Champions League meeting with AS Roma, but he did not make the progress needed during the final stage of his recovery and injured his calf again while testing whether he was ready to play or not.
The Welsh attacker has been in great form this season.
