Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo were the ones addressing the media in today's pre-match press conference.

"The team is working very well, we trained very well the last three weeks and we've scored plenty of goals. This is a different competition and one that's very important for us, so we're excited and we know it will be a difficult match for us," said Ronaldo about Wednesday's match against Roma.

"I know why Messi shot it that way and I'm not saying anything else about this," sentenced the Portuguese player when asked about the controversial PK between Messi and Suárez. Was he referring to Suárez chasing Ronaldo in the race for the Golden Boot? Only the Portuguese striker knows...

"It's normal, it happens like whenever you spoil your children and they start crying. This time reporters don't cry but they write too much whenever I don't score," explained Ronaldo about his critics. "I'm happy in Real Madrid. I play every game, I score some goals and I am playing for the world's best club," he added.
