Football Leaks has published Ángel Di María's contract with Manchester United -- signed in the summer of 2014 -- when the Argentinian winger left Real Madrid. It is quite a long document and some of the most important agreements are the following:
- United paid €75 million for Di María, according to this contract.
- Real Madrid included a clause which indicated that United would have to pay money again if Di María made his return to the Spanish Liga BBVA, probably trying to prevent United from selling the player to FC Barcelona if things didn't work out well for the winger.
- United also agreed to pay Real Madrid €1 million if they played the Champions League Group Stage with Di María on their roster.
- Real Madrid and United included a clause stating that the British club would need to pay €5 million if Di María was selected among the world's three best players in the Ballon D'Or ceremony.
