Real Madrid published the squad list for tomorrow's match against Málaga and Karim Benzema has finally been left out. Zinedine Zidane didn't say a thing about the French striker during the pre-match press conference, so one has to assume that Benzema is going through some physical problems.
Goalkeepers: Keylor Navas, Casilla and Rubén Yáñez.
Defenders: Ramos, Nacho, Marcelo, Carvajal, Arbeloa and Danilo.
Midfielders: Kroos, James, Casemiro, Kovacic, Modric and Isco.
Attackers: Cristiano Ronaldo, Lucas Vázquez, Jesé and Borja Mayoral.
Without Benzema, expect Jesé Rodríguez to play upfront. Cristiano and Jesé himself will probably be taking turns as the main forward.
It will be difficult for Real Madrid to beat Málaga without Bale and Benzema, but Los Blancos still have a better squad than Málaga and should earn all three points available. No rotations are expected but Carvajal and Ramos will need to be careful as they are just one yellow card away from missing the Madrid derby.
