The rumors about Neymar's departure from FC Barcelona won't stop if the player himself and his father keep hinting at a move away from the club. This time, it was Neymar's father who said that his son "received a big offer" from another club, adding that "he doesn't need to sign an extension with Barcelona at the moment."

Either way, Neymar's father said that this offer does not come from Real Madrid, according to EcoDiario. Saying otherwise could be problematic in the middle of the season and several reports from Spain suggest that Los Blancos are indeed interested in signing the Brazilian star, so only time will tell.

Neymar and his father might be using Real's interest to get a significant contract extension with Barcelona, but if he is willing to leave the club and join Real Madrid then there is no reason for Real not to pay the €190 million release clause.
