Real Madrid published a statement about the attacks that happened yesterday in Brussels.

Real Madrid C. F. would like to express their sorrow at the terrorist attacks committed today in Brussels and offer their condolences to the victims and their loved ones. Real Madrid would also like to display their full solidarity with the Belgian people in what are difficult circumstances for everyone.

Cristiano Ronaldo and his Portuguese teammates were set to face the Belgian national team in Brussels during this FIFA break but the match was moved to Portugal for safety reasons. The Belgian Football Federation released a statement thanking the Portuguese Football Federation for their availability and willingness to host that friendly. The match will finally be played next Tuesday in Leiria in what will surely be an emotional evening for every Belgian player involved.

Real Madrid held a minute of silence before yesterday's training session just as every football team in Spain.
