Cristiano Ronaldo and his Portuguese teammates will host the Belgian national team tonight after both Federations decided to move the event away from Belgium due to the attacks in Brussels last week. The game will obviously be a very emotional tribute for the victims.
Tottenham midfielder Moussa Dembelé shared his thoughts during yesterday's pre-match press conference: "These terrorists can't call themselves Muslims as they discredit our religion. They hurt us a lot because the people and the media don't describe Islam as something good when the jihadists kill our own people as well," he said.
The game should be an interesting one even with players like Hazard, De Bruyne or Kompany being out. Both sides are hoping to complete a good Eurocup next summer and this could be a good test to see how ready they are for the big stage. Cristiano Ronaldo missed a penalty in last week's loss to Bulgaria and will be aiming to earn some redemption.
Location: Estadio Dr. Magalhaes Pessoa, Leiria, Portugal.
Kick-off time: 08:45 PM CET, 02:45 PM Eastern.
