A minute's silence will be held to honour de Felipe before tonight's match against Wolfsburg at the Bernabeu.I would like to send my condolences and regards to his family, who were his companions and friends.
All of us who had the fortune to know him will always have him in our hearts thank to his passion for Real Madid and his enormous human qualities.
Pedro came through our youth academy and he was a star in that fantastic Real Madrid yeyé era team that won the sixth European Cup.
De Felipe played 170 games in the shirt of his Real Madrid. In addition to the European Cup, he also won 5 Ligas and one Copa de España. He was a defender who represented the character of our badge and our shirt. He never gave up on an exemplary path until his final days.
The madridistas will always be grateful to him and because of that he will always have a place in our history and in our memory.
Florentino Pérez.
