Let's face it, in an already crowded midfield Isco is spare parts. It hasn't been all rainbows and unicorns for him at Real Madrid. He's had his ups and downs, and as we near the end of the season and with summer on the horizon, we will hear more will he/won't he be a merengue? To be honest Isco might not be in Zindane's plans going forward, so why not do some wheeling and dealing?
We have a transfer ban coming, and it might sound silly to sell, but again: the midfield is crowded. Isco hasn't been a first choice for Zidane in quite some time, and that's pretty telling if you ask me. He seems set on a Modrić-Casemiro-Kroos midfield down the stretch. Juventus has a new player on the rumor train and they've got their eye on the 23 year-old Spaniard. According to his father/agent, there is serious interest from the Italian side.
"Yes, there is interest from Juventus," agent and father Paco Alarcon told Tuttomercatoweb. "The Bianconeri are tracking him, but for now there have been no official offers.
"My son is focused only on ending the year well with Real Madrid, where he would like to stay next season too. "He is already at one of the top clubs in the world."
We're already going to be talking to Juve this summer because of Morata, so why not work an Isco deal as well? I'm a football realist and if we can get something for him it's a win/win. We get some cash and Isco gets a shot at being more than a fringe player that he's become here at Real Madrid.
Isco is going to get his shot to impress, he started today and looked good to me. Trust that he'll get more La Liga starts as the season winds down. He can raise his stock by playing well going into the summer break.
