Real Madrid published their starting XI for tonight's match against Villarreal, a game that could very well be decisive for Los Blancos' pursuit of the Liga title.

Real Madrid Starting XI: Keylor Navas, Danilo, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo, Casemiro, Kroos, Modric, Vázquez, Ronaldo, Benzema.

Villarreal Starting XI: Asenjo, Mario, Bonera, Bailly, Rukavina, Dos Santos, Trigueros, Bruno, Denis Suárez, Adrián and Bakambu

As expected, Lucas Vázquez replaces Gareth Bale on the right wing. Other than that, it looked as if Isco was going to give Kroos some rest tonight, but Zidane has decided to start the German midfielder.

It will be very important for Madrid to control the game because Villarreal can be a very dangerous team if they're given space to counterattack, and while Los Blancos have improved that aspect of their game since Casemiro became a starter, they could suffer tonight.

Meanwhile, it will not be easy to replace Bale's offensive production, but Vázquez has earned this minutes every time he's been given the chance to play.
