Cristiano Ronaldo underwent some tests this morning to see how bad the hamstring injury he picked up during yesterday's 3-0 win is. The Portuguese posted a picture on his Instagram account saying that "everything is fine."
After the match, Zinedine Zidane said that he had regrets about not taking Ronaldo off the game.
"Yes, sometimes that is what's needed. The idea for a manager is that when you have a player like Cristiano it is sometimes necessary for him not to finish a game or not play at all. He is a player who always wants to play and be on the pitch. He wants to give what he has within him. We will see when we get him back," said Zidane after the match.
It looks like Ronaldo will be available next Tuesday against Manchester City, although he could need some rest this weekend when Real visit Rayo Vallecano on Saturday.
