MANCHESTER, ETIHAD STADIUM -- Real Madrid will face Manchester City in the first leg of the Champions League Semifinals and Gareth Bale discussed the match in press conference.

"No matter who you face in the semi they're here on merit. You don't get to the semi-final by luck. All the teams are equally as hard. They have made good progress over the years and they've done very well up to this moment but hopefully we can stop them," said the Welshman.

Bale was Real Madrid's leader without Cristiano Ronaldo and he wants to keep that good form alive no matter who plays tomorrow.

"I'm always ready to help the team, we always play together and no matter who scores the goals we work for the what's best for the team," said the Welshman.

Bale will most likely play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema as Zidane confirmed that those two players should be available after missing the last Liga BBVA match against Rayo.
