*Editor's note: this match report is a bit delayed, but we are excited to announce that we'll be covering Castilla regularly from now on!

Castilla set the pace in the pouring rain at the Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium taking on Guadalajara.  The visitors would jump to an early lead in the 18th minute when defender Tejero slipped on the wet surface allowing his man to go one-on-one with goaltender Carlos Abad. Just like that, Castilla was down 1-0. Borja Mayoral and Fran would link up twice before the break to give them a 2-1 lead.

When Castilla came out to start the second half - they scored twice in less that 15 minutes after the restart. Goals would come from Cedrés, and Javi Muñoz which made it 4-2. Guadalajara would score again to make it 4-3.

Mariano would come on for Mayoral in the 72nd minute and add more spark to the already strong offense that Castilla was running with. He would pick up two goals, one in the 84th minute and then again at the 90 minute mark, which would seal the deal for RM Castilla - bringing home their second consecutive victory at the Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium.

Here are the goals and highlights from the match.

This puts Castilla in a firm 2nd place, and only 6 points off league leader Barakaldo CF.
