New Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola coached Toni Kroos during his first season with Bayern Munich and then lost the German midfielder, but he wants Kroos to play for him again and a report from COPE indicates that City will try to sign the midfielder this next summer.
If that same report is accurate, Guardiola will also try to make a move for Dani Carvajal in order to improve his defensive line with the young star.
Manchester City surely have enough money to make a tempting offer for both players, but Real Madrid should not be interested in selling these two undisputed starters no matter what. Unless City's offer makes them want to leave for financial reasons, both Carvajal and Kroos will most likely stay in the Spanish capital. Guardiola will want to improve his team so City will be involved in plenty of transfer rumours this summer, just like Real Madrid.
