Goals, goals!

Strange things happen during Champions League Finals. Godín and Ramos -- two defenders -- scored the two goals in regulation in Lisbon and three goals were scored in extra time. Here are three bold predictions about the upcoming 2016 UEFA Champions League Final. Take them as bold predictions.

  1. Either James or Isco will score off the bench. Both players have had a very difficult season for Madrid and appeared to be on their way out of the club. However, they could earn redemption by scoring a goal in the biggest game of all, even after coming off the bench.
  2. More than three goals will be scored. Atlético are known for their defensive system and Madrid usually struggle against it. Furthermore, Atlético usually don't score very often. This could all change tomorrow and such a big game will deliver shaky defensive performances.
  3. Real will win down to 10 men. Clattenburg will send off a Real Madrid player and yet Los Blancos will hold and conquer their 11th European title.
