Luka Modric, Mateo Kovacic and their Croatian teammates will begin their UEFA Euro today against Turkey, a match that should provide a good show and decent highlights.

Croatia are the favourites in this match as they should also make it past the Group Stage with Spain, but Turkey have dangerous players such as Arda Turan, Selcuk Inan and Burak Yilmaz. Modric and Kovacic are both expected to start for Croatia, with the latter possibly playing behind the strikers Kalinic and Mandzukic.

It will be very important for Croatia to get all three points today and show that they can compete with Spain for the top spot in this group. Ante Cacic has some very good players at his disposal and Croatia could be a big surprise in this tournament if Modric, Rakitic, Kovacic and Mandzukic gel well enough and perform as well as they are expected.

All in all, they could struggle defensively, but they will be expected to control the possession.
