Neymar's inner circle, featuring his agent and his father, want him to sign for Real Madrid to start from scratch, get a better deal and forget all the controversy about his signing for Barcelona, according to Spanish paper ABC.
It would obviously be quite hard for Madrid to sign the Brazilian star away from Barcelona, as they would need to pay the €190 million release clause included in his contract with Barça. Other clubs like Paris Saint-Germain reportedly have interest in Neymar, and while some reports indicated that the Brazilian attacker could be signing a contract extension with the Catalans soon, Barcelona-based paper Mundo Deportivo published today that it will not be that easy.
Either way, Real Madrid probably don't need Neymar on their squad right now. With Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale playing upfront and Álvaro Morata reportedly set to return to the Spanish capital next month, making such a big move for Neymar could be quite risky.
