Real Madrid officially confirmed that Álvaro Morata will return to the team after spending the last two seasons with Juventus. Here's Madrid's official statement.
Real Madrid C. F. have informed Juventus FC of their decision to salvage the federative rights on the player Álvaro Morata, who will join up with the first team for pre-season training under the command of Zinedine Zidane.
Los Blancos sold Morata for €18 million and they are now bringing him back for €30 million. If he ends up staying in the Spanish capital, Madrid would have paid €12 million for two years of good development for the player, who has earned plenty of experience in Juventus.
However, some reports indicate that Real could sell the player for a fee close to €60 million, something that would allow Real to cash in some money after how Álvaro Morata has developed into one of Europe's most promising strikers.
